We're pleased to announce that ProtoFlex will again be attending ASCAT 2026, and this year we'll have a stand — stand 4 — where we'll be demonstrating some of the work we've been involved with over the past year.

Come and see our sickle cell patient management system in action, including the integrated patient engagement module we've been building in close co-design with people with lived experience of sickle cell disease. We'll be on hand throughout the conference to talk through the platform, answer questions, and hear what matters most to the clinicians and patients we meet.

We're especially proud that some of our clinical and patient co-design collaborators will be presenting their own work at this year's conference, showcasing different aspects of what we've built together:
Patient-led abstract presentation
A patient co-designer will present an abstract reflecting on their experience shaping the patient engagement module — the perspective of someone living with sickle cell disease who has directly influenced what got built.
Clinician-led poster presentation
One of our clinical collaborators will present a poster on the sickle cell patient management system, covering the clinical workflow design and how it supports day-to-day care.
Together, the stand demonstration and these two presentations give a rounded picture of the work completed this year — from the clinical and technical build, through to the patient voice that has shaped it every step of the way.
