ProtoFlex Engage is not a generic patient portal. Every deployment is fully configurable by condition — shaped around what patients with that condition actually need, not a one-size-fits-all model that serves no one particularly well.
For our sickle cell disease pathway, that means working directly with people who have lived experience of the condition through a co-design programme. The result is a portal with condition-specific tools — including a pain and crisis diary, and condition-relevant signposting that surfaces relevant information based on where a patient is in their care journey.
