ProtoFlex Product Roadmap
Building the future of
NHS condition management
Three parallel tracks — condition-specific clinical designs, cross-condition platform features, and NHS core integrations — plotted across a 2–3 year horizon.
Our Direction
Three tracks, one platform
Our roadmap is structured around three parallel workstreams that shape how ProtoFlex evolves. Each track moves at its own pace, driven by clinical need, NHS priorities, and the real-world feedback of the teams using the platform today.
Condition-specific work never stops — we run two conditions concurrently and new projects can begin at any time. Cross-condition features and platform integrations are built once and benefit every deployment. The roadmap below shows where we're focused, not a ceiling on what can be started.
Platform models and workflows built with clinical leads for defined conditions — sickle cell, thalassaemia, CKD, coeliac, and respiratory active now.
Intelligent capabilities that apply across every condition: risk stratification, ambient voice integration, and cohort analytics.
Deep NHS infrastructure integrations — NHS Login, NHS Notify, FHIR subscriptions, and national data platform connectivity.
Condition‑Specific Designs
Clinical models built with condition specialists
Cross‑Condition Features
Capabilities that benefit every condition on the platform
Platform Core Development
NHS digital ecosystem integrations & infrastructure
Dates are indicative. The roadmap reflects our current direction — specific timelines are confirmed with customers at project inception.
What Happens Next
The roadmap is a starting point, not a waiting list
Every item on this roadmap has been shaped by conversations with NHS teams, clinical leads, and people who manage complex conditions day-to-day. The direction is clear — but the specifics of what gets built, and when, are always shaped by the customers and clinicians we're working with.
If a particular workstream is relevant to your organisation, we'd rather have that conversation now than wait for a scheduled release. Condition projects in particular can begin at any point — they don't slot into a queue.
Start a conversationYou don't need to wait for a slot on the roadmap. If you have a condition you want to build for, we can start the conversation today.
Every condition model and cross-condition feature is developed alongside clinical leads — not shipped to them as a finished product.
NHS Login, NHS Notify, FHIR subscriptions and AI features are built once into the platform and benefit every condition deployment automatically.
